The Trugap score
One number for the distance between belief and proof.
Your CRM records what the seller believes. Trugap checks what the customer has actually shown. The distance between the two is your Trugap.
Sample data
The definition
Confidence
Confidence
What the seller and the CRM believe about the deal, as a percentage.
Evidence
Evidence
How strongly the customer evidence supports the deal, scored 0 to 100. In the product this is called Deal Health.
Trugap
Trugap
Confidence minus Evidence, in points. The bigger the number, the further belief is running ahead of proof.
How to read it
Move the numbers. Watch the gap.

Trugap
Trugap 33
Illustrative only. Not a real deal.
- Around zero: belief and evidence agree.
- Positive: the seller is ahead of the evidence.
- Negative: the evidence is ahead of the seller. Rare, and worth a conversation.
What it is not
Four things it is not.
- 01
Not a probability to close.
- 02
Not a forecast.
- 03
Not a grade for the seller.
- 04
Not a replacement for your CRM: it sits alongside it and never changes your CRM stage.

Evidence classes
- Verified
- Supported
- Assumed
- Missing
Every deal is inspected across eight areas: Problem, Impact, Buyer, Champion, Decision, Competition, Process and Momentum. Evidence in each area is classed as Verified, Supported, Assumed or Missing. The score is deterministic: the same evidence always produces the same result. AI interprets the evidence after scoring and never changes the score. We do not publish the weightings.

If the method changes, we will version it and say what changed, so a Trugap this quarter means the same as a Trugap next quarter.
